Universities in Australia or New Zealand are eligible to become Members of SIRCA and secure membership through the payment of an annual membership fee.
Member Universities have access to SIRCA’s primary market data services for Australian ASX data (AETHS, CHESS Data, CRD) and RDTH. In addition to these products, members are entitled to training, support and Data Consultation services as detailed below.
TRAINING
SIRCA provides introductory level onsite training early in the academic year to introduce Members to SIRCA’s services and to train existing users in advanced data extraction.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
The HelpDesk is the main point of contact for all technical support, including questions about downloading, decryption, decompressing and loading data and troubleshooting. Users may submit requests via the online form, by sending e-mail to
UniversityManager@sirca.org.au, or by calling +61 2 9236 9152. Support is available during standard business hours (AEST) only.
SERVICE LEVEL
SIRCA undertakes to respond to all enquiries within one business day. Users are kept informed of the resolution process and expected timeframes for completion.
DATA CONSULTATION SERVICES
Data consultation services are available for those datasets that do not allow direct access and download. SIRCA provides a dedicated data search and extraction service known as a Data Consult. There is no additional fee for this service. To access this service, fill in the online form or submit it to SIRCA via email to
UniversityManager@sirca.org.au.
