Does Excellence in Business Strategy Pay?
SIRCA says Yes. Business Excellence Australia (a Division of Standards
Australia) commissioned SIRCA to conduct a study on all ASX listed
"Australian Business Excellence Award" winners. SIRCA
found that Australian Business Excellence winning organisations
outperformed the Australian All Ords Index by 3.5 to 1.

SIRCA Wins Bid for New Technology Centre
In November 2001 SIRCA was awarded a $5.3 million grant
under the Commonwealth Government’s Systemic Infrastructure
Initiate Programme to further expand its research infrastructure
aimed at providing specialised high-performance computer facilities
for finance, accounting, economics and business research and training.

SIRCA Assists Sydney Future’s Exchange With Electronic
Trading
The Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE), the largest futures
exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, commissioned SIRCA to research
the impact of its new automation technology.
The research undertaken by SIRCA provided support for the proposition
that electronic trading can facilitate higher levels of liquidity and lower
transaction costs relative to floor traded markets.

SIRCA Incubates SMART Software
SIRCA provides consultants to train and adapt the SMARTS
software for maximum client benefit and provide back testing
of trading rules for consideration by commercial SMARTS users.
SMARTS is a Surveillance software system targeted at exchanges
and securities industries regulators, providing these clients
with a broad range of functions.
