Ross is Professor of Business Systems, and a senior researcher in the Centre for Industry and Innovation Studies (CInIS), College of Business, University of Western Sydney. His areas of research interest include Innovation Management and Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing and Service Industries, Knowledge and Technology Management within Organisations, and Performance Measurement and its application in Business Improvement. He has authored or co-authored several books and book chapters and over 90 journal articles and conference papers in these areas, and he also has broad consulting experience in the areas of Quality Management and Process Improvement, Performance Measurement, Quality Systems and ISO 9000 Certification. He is regional editor or editorial board member for two international journals in these areas and is a member of the Executive of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management. He holds a BA(Hons), Dip.Ed. and PhD, plus the AICD Company Directors Course Diploma. Ross is a member of SIRCA's Board Audit and Risk Management and Remuneration Committees, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
