News timestamps align with market data timestamps from the Thomson Reuters Tick History, making it a valuable resource for examining the impact of news on the market. 

Global News records the original category and editorial codes of the original stories and, along with language, related companies, headline and story body text makes this information searchable with a powerful but simple query language so it is easy to extract just the news you want.
