Member Services

Universities in Australia or New Zealand are eligible to become Members of Sirca.

Member universities have access to the full array of Sirca licenced databases and capabilities, including access to global financial markets data via the Thomson Reuters Tick History service and to our growing set of Australia market focussed company reference data and financial markets data. In addition to product access, members are entitled to training, support and Data Consultation services as detailed below.

Training
Sirca provides introductory level onsite training early in the academic year to introduce Members to Sirca's services and to train existing users in advanced data extraction.

Technical Support
We provide a point of contact for all technical support issues, including questions about downloading, decryption, decompressing and loading data and troubleshooting. Users may submit requests via the online form, by sending e-mail to UniversityManager@sirca.org.au, or by calling +61 2 9236 9152. Support is available during standard business hours (AEST) only.

Data Consultation Services
Data consultation services are available for those datasets that do not allow direct access and download. Sirca provides a dedicated data search and extraction service known as a Data Consult. There is no additional fee for this service. To access this service, fill in the online form or submit it to Sirca via email to UniversityManager@sirca.org.au
