SIRCA Launches Review of Australian Financial Services Industry

A Review of the Australian Financial Services Industry is the third book to be published by SIRCA.

This book, edited by Dr David R. Gallagher (UNSW) and Nick Chappel (USyd), provides information on the role, contribution and importance to the Australian economy of the four key sectors within Australia's financial services industry:

1. Capital Markets
2. Investment Management
3. Banking
4. Insurance

Also described are:

• recent developments that have impacted on each of the sectors
• the major participants in the sectors; and
• international comparisons that assist a better understanding of how Australia's financial services industry compares globally.

This study was a collaborative project involving Capital Markets CRC Limited and SIRCA Limited.
