What makes the study interesting?

Much of contemporary equity research is trending towards commoditisation, with analysts across the finance sector working with similar data, presented by organizations at similar times, using similar analytical tools. At the same time, there is pressure from stakeholders to understand more complex organizational issues such as: management quality, leadership, remuneration and corporate governance.

  • What are the opportunities for leaders in the field of equity research?
  • How can new, differentiated equity research products be created and distributed?
  • How can securities analysts meet the relentless need for continuing high performance?
  • US research indicates active fund managers are making more than 50% of their investment decisions based on non-financial data. How can these nonfinancial analytical tools be made more readily available and more systematic?
