Downloading Data
A number of SIRCA’s databases may be downloaded directly
from the website while others require programming support. The following
table provides a summary of the method by which each database can
be accessed.

Notes
- Company announcements can be accessed in a number
of ways. The complete history of announcements may be downloaded
on a stock by stock basis using the ASX Daily Data tool. Alternatively,
announcements may be searched by stock code and announcement type
on the SIRCA website. More complex searches, including announcement
text searches require programming support and therefore require
a Data Consult Form.
- Aspect data may be downloaded directly from
the website by licensed users. Requests requiring programming
support must use the Data Consult Form. Note that there are
specific Conditions
of Use for the Aspect Data.
Access to all other data requires programming
support.
 ASX
Daily Data (previously CRD)
ASX Daily Data may be downloaded directly from
the SIRCA website. This data will be updated in June and December
each year.
Due to the large size of this database, ideally the data should
be downloaded once by an administrator at each Member
University and stored on the university server. This document
also provides a description of how to download the ASX Daily Data
View Tool.

Once the data has been downloaded to the university server, it
may be extracted by authorised users with the ASX Daily Data View
Tool. Instructions for users to do this are available here
in PDF.

SFE
Daily Data
SFE Daily Data may be downloaded directly from the SIRCA website.
This data will be updated in June and December each year.
Like the ASX Daily Data, due to the large size of this database,
ideally the data should be downloaded once by an administrator at
each Member University and stored on the university server. Instructions
for administrators to download and decrypt the data may be found
here.
Once the data has been downloaded to the university server, it
may be extracted by authorised users with the SFE Daily Data View
Tool.

Company Announcements Search Engine
The Company Announcements (Signal G) data may be searched
for announcements relating to particular stocks or date ranges.
This tool is only available to Full Members. For more complex or
keyword searches members will need to complete a Data Consult Form.
Aspect
Financial
Aspect
Financial Data may be downloaded, by
licensed users, directly from the SIRCA website. This data will
be updated and made available on the website on request. Licensed
users will be given a password to access this section of the site.
